The centre is located 3/4 mile east of junction 62 of the A1M, opposite Ramside Hall Hotel and Golf Course. The site is accessed via a lay-by on the A690, through white iron gates and down a private tarmac road to a large, tarmac well-lit car park. Both the road and the car park are suitable for coaches.

The nearest train station is Durham. Either take a taxi to the site (around 4 miles) or a bus from the main bus terminal a short walk down the hill.
The 20 & 20x Go North East buses from Durham Bus Station stop just outside the site gates. Ask for the Rainton Gate stop.
The nearest airports are Newcastle International and Durham Tee's Valley. There are good bus and rail links to and from the airports which will bring to you Durham City.
